A great example of our approach in action is the Delivery Managers Development Programme, co-created with one of our partners. The goal? To build the leadership and operational strength of delivery professionals across levels. Here’s how we brought innovative learning to life:
Stage 1: Needs Assessment — Data First, Always
Before designing any content, we used strategic conversations, hands-on diagnostics, and knowledge checks to identify real capability gaps. This allowed us to tailor learning paths to different levels, from entry to leadership. Participants could clearly see their own growth, with measurable progress throughout.
Stage 2: Personalised Learning Paths
We broke the cohort into learning groups based on experience and role complexity:
- Leadership Development Programme: for experienced delivery professionals, focused on strategic influence and high-impact leadership.
- Core Delivery Development Programme: for professionals at various career stages, supporting role-specific development with practical, high-density sessions.
Stage 3: Modular Learning
Instead of a fixed programme, we used modular stages:
- Pre- and post-assessments at every stage
- Virtual and in-person workshops and training sessions, adapted by cohort
- Action Learning groups solving real problems collaboratively
- Live site visits within the organisation for applied peer learning
- Leadership challenges, co-created and refined in real time
- Coaching Circles for leadership behaviours, feedback, and coaching culture
Stage 4: Built With the Business
Crucially, this programme wasn’t delivered to the client, but with them. Internal stakeholders helped steer each stage. Feedback loops and embedded coordination roles allowed the programme to evolve as needs changed—not months later, but week by week.
